An AI phone assistant answers when the team is busy at the grill, takes the order, reads it back and texts the customer a payment link. The kitchen only gets the order once it's paid.

About 30p per phone order

Per-call prices assume an average call of about 2 minutes. Pick either plan: Regular £65 a month (about 33p a call, then 15p a minute, about 30p per extra call) or Large £99 a month (about 25p a call). Every extra call is another order for you. Large is cheaper above about 313 calls a month. Card fees (Stripe, 1.5% + 20p) are separate and go to Stripe.

How it works

Four steps, no paper, no unpaid orders.

  1. Customer callsThe AI answers, says it's Copper Spit's automated assistant, and takes the order from the menu.
  2. Order read backItems, salad and sauces, address, total, time and allergies are all confirmed out loud.
  3. Payment link by textThe customer gets a secure card / Apple Pay link straight to their phone.
  4. Paid → kitchenOnly when payment clears does the order text through to the grill.

Copper Spit Grill is a made-up takeaway for this demo. Dishes, prices, the £2.50 delivery charge, times, customer, address and phone number are examples only (07700 900xxx is a range set aside for fiction, and AB1 2CD is a made-up postcode).
